Monster Hunter Outlanders is now officially live in Southeast Asia – the survival hunting action RPG, licensed and supervised by Capcom, developed by TiMi Studio Group, and published by Garena, is now available for download on the App Store and Google Play Store.
To mark the launch, Garena has also released a Launch Celebration PV showcasing original Adventurers hunting Radiant monsters and different weapon types in action, including the newly introduced Charge Blade.
Monster Hunter Outlanders Launch

Players who log in and participate in launch events can earn up to 400 Recruitment Tickets, SSR Adventurer Pyro, SSR Adventurer Luka, SSR Buddy Kojiro, and more. A special event featuring the new Adventurer Midori is also available, offering additional rewards for participants. The Trailblazer Guild event runs from launch until 30 November 2026. Players can invite friends to form a guild and level up together. When guilds across the server collectively reach a target level, all players receive an exclusive title and stickers.
In terms of core gameplay, Monster Hunter Outlanders lets players explore the main story to uncover the mysteries of the island of Aesoland, take on monsters of varying difficulty in Free Hunt Mode, and compete in Arena matches where all players fight on equalised stats.
The game features eight weapon types at launch. Seven were previously revealed: Great Sword, Long Sword, Dual Blades, Hammer, Lance, Heavy Bowgun, and Bow. The Charge Blade is the newly introduced addition, offering both offensive and defensive capabilities. Players can switch between Sword Mode and Axe Mode mid-hunt to adapt their approach. More weapon types are planned for future updates.

Each weapon type is paired with an original Adventurer, which is a design choice unique to Monster Hunter Outlanders compared to the mainline series. On the monster side, players will encounter Ruger Aidal, an original Elder Dragon described as radiating an intense, sun-like brilliance. Radiant species, which are monsters mutated by Aesoland’s unique environmental conditions, also appear throughout the game.
Multiplayer supports parties of up to four players, and coordinating attacks and using cooperative skills grants additional damage bonuses. Three types of Buddies (Palico, Rutaco, and Trillan) accompany players and assist with hunting, exploration, and base building. Controls have been optimized for mobile devices, where controller support is available at launch for selected features including hunting, the quest system, and field exploration, with the development team planning to expand support to additional features over time.
Pokdepinion: Monster Hunter on mobile sounds great until you remember your phone overheats during boss fights.
