Honor of Kings introduces the Amber Era event, a sci-fi themed content update with exclusive skins and the addition of a new hero, Liu Bang. The event allows players to obtain two new skins for Kaizer and Garo, plus more skins to be revealed at a later date. Here’s the trailer:

The event also brings a new in-game challenge where players must unite to avert a global catastrophe caused by an impending meteorite – completing this mission will reward participants with hero experience cards and an Amber Era trail. Additional event phases will offer opportunities to earn epic skins and other rewards through specific missions.
Liu Bang joins the growing roster of heroes, offering players a versatile tank character with skills and abilities to teleport to teammates for support. As part of the Amber Era event, players can also acquire sci-fi style skins for several heroes at discounted rates, and additional skins will be available throughout September.
In related news, the 2024 Honor of Kings Championship will take place in October in Indonesia – the event marks the culmination of the Honor of Kings Global Invitational Series 2024, with regional qualifiers and play-offs currently underway across multiple regions, including the Pacific, Americas, and EMEA. Teams will compete for a spot in the Championship and fight their way to the top, with finals set on 27th October.
