Arena Breakout: Infinite Releases Gameplay Trailer, Closed Beta Opening Soon
Developer MoreFun Studios recently announced its latest updates for the development of its upcoming FPS (first-person shooter) title, Arena Breakout: Infinite. The game will soon launch its first Closed Beta test starting on May 8, 2024, and here’s the trailer for a sneak peek of what’s to come:
Players have touted this game as a potential competitor to another relatively niche shooter, Escape From Tarkov (which has a fairly dedicated community), due to both games’ similarities under the ‘extraction shooter’ sub-genre. Tarkov was faced with significant criticism recently due to its aggressive monetization which has infuriated many players.
In this beta build, players can access two maps – Farm and Valley – where players can extract loot from the fictional war-torn region of Kamona. Players are expected to survive through gunfights and ambushes from other players in this open-world multiplayer map, featuring 360° spatial audio effects and real-time lighting for increased immersion.
The studio says Arena Breakout: Infinite has amassed over 100,000 wishlists on Steam within three days since the game was officially announced. Given the significant interest in this upcoming shooter, you’ll have to be quick to sign up for the Closed Beta, which will be randomly selected in limited registration slots. Once selected, you’ll have the Beta access that the studio says “is expected to last at least two weeks.”
The game will see its official launch in “late 2024” and will be free-to-play, MoreFun Studios said. Players can sign up for the Closed Beta testing by visiting the game’s website.
Pokdepinion: Here’s hoping the beta testing will be a smooth one.
