With May 2020 coming to an end soon, some of you may be wondering about the free games lineup for PS Plus June 2020. We did report on a rumour of a blockbuster game possibly being offered for free, which you can read about right here. In this case, we actually have something confirmed to be coming, and it’s coming earlier than expected.
Call of Duty WWII Announced Early for PS Plus June 2020
That game is none other than Call of Duty WWII. Announced via the official PlayStation Twitter account, the game will be available starting 26th May 2020. In case you weren’t aware, the game takes place in the 40s where you relive the chaos and warfare from World War 2.
Call of Duty returns to its roots with Call of Duty WWII – a breathtaking experience that redefines World War II for a new gaming generation. Land in Normandy on D-Day and battle across Europe through iconic locations in history’s most monumental war. Experience classic Call of Duty combat, the bonds of camaraderie, and the unforgiving nature of war against a global power throwing the world into tyranny.
This is only one of the free games being offered as part of PS Plus June 2020. We expect the rest of the lineup to be unveiled at a later time. The current crop of free games, Cities: Skylines and Farming Simulator 19 will be available until 1st June 2020.
For now, Call of Duty WII is available for you to enjoy for free if you’re a PS Plus subscriber starting today onwards.
Pokdepinion: Having it announced out of nowhere is one thing but making it available earlier than usual is another. It’s certainly a big surprise for me, and it’s a good thing too.
