Rumours of another potential Cyberpunk 2077 delay stemmed from a tweet by Tiffany Treadmore, a gaming insider who predicted the cancellation of E3 2020 and the existence of Half-Life Alyx before their official announcements came about.

Tiffany claims that she has heard of “unhappy things” with regards to Cyberpunk 2077. This doesn’t necessarily mean that there will indeed be another delay for the game. However, due to her track record on previous predictions, there may be more to the matter than meets the eye.
Previously, CD Projekt Red’s stock value decreased by 25% since August 2020. While this cannot be directly attributed to the delay for Cyberpunk 2077, the uncertainty surrounding the game’s development definitely played a role. If there is indeed yet another delay, it might have major detrimental effects for the company.
CD Projekt Red has since denied the rumour and insisted that the game will indeed be launching exactly as they have announced recently. For now, we can only wait and see.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia on 10th December 2020, with next gen versions on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X also being worked on.
Pokdepinion: If it delays again, I am honestly going to give up on the game. I have nothing against game delays, it’s just that this would be way too many delays if true. I understand that developers are people too but if you needed a longer time frame, just say so earlier.
