HoYoverse has announced the release of Genshin Impact Version 5.1, “The Rainbow Destined to Burn,” on October 9. The update expands the storyline in Natlan, introduces new character Xilonen, and marks the return of the Sabzeruz Festival in Sumeru, celebrating Nahida’s birthday.
Genshin Impact Version 5.1
In the new Archon Quest, players and Xilonen, a master forger, must help save Natlan from the Abyss. Completing the two new acts will reward players with 500 Primogems, with additional rewards available through World Quests and Natlan Exploration.

Xilonen, a five-star Geo Sword wielder, brings versatile support and offensive capabilities, adapting to various elemental conditions. The new Event Wishes feature Xilonen and Chiori in the first half, with Nahida and Hu Tao returning in the second half. Natlan also introduces a new enemy boss, the “Secret Source Constructor.”

The Sabzeruz Festival returns with mini-games and a special role for players as the Knight of Flowers. Participants can earn Festive Fervor and a free recruitment of Candace by completing festival activities. The update also includes quality-of-life updates, such as a skip feature in the Spiral Abyss, streamlined character ascension, and improved Artifact management.
