In anticipation of the launch of Zenless Zone Zero, HoYoverse (the makers of hit titles including Honkai series, Genshin Impact, and more) has globally released the game’s debut music track, “ZENLESS,” created in collaboration with Grammy-winning Dutch DJ-Producer Tiësto, also known as the “Godfather of EDM”. The track and its accompanying video are now available on major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.

The music, composed by Tiësto and DJ duo Lucas & Steve, captures the game’s narrative and vibrant elements. It blends Tiësto’s big-room beats, Lucas & Steve’s future house style, and sound samples from the game. “I’m inspired by the fascinating sounds and visual design from Zenless Zone Zero and wanted to amplify the excitement of the game in the music,” said Tiësto.
The game also revealed Sān-Z, the “creative design entity” behind this music partnership. Sān-Z utilized Fairy, the voice of the in-game virtual assistant for Proxies, and the team has incorporated the game’s visual elements into the music video. Speaking of which, here’s the music video:
The release of “ZENLESS” marks Zenless Zone Zero’s first global music collaboration, as it prepares the global launch on July 4th (10:00AM Malaysian Time) on PlayStation 5, PC, iOS, and Android. Players will explore a world affected by supernatural disasters and unravel the mysteries behind New Eridu, the last remaining city.
