The Open Beta will include Online Casual and Ranked Matches, along with a local Versus Mode for challenging friends or practicing against computer-controlled opponents. An Open Lobby feature will let players select from 16 avatars with four color variations each, interact with other players through chat and preset messages, and access arcade cabinets to initiate matches.

For newcomers, a Start Up Battle tutorial will introduce core mechanics, including 4v4 combat and team-based systems, followed by a trial match. Training Mode will allow players to practice with any character, work on combos and customize training scenarios. The beta will also include an early look at Episode Mode, featuring the first three chapters of the Amazing Guardians storyline, presented through motion-comic style storytelling combined with battle sequences.

MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls is set to launch on 6 August 2026 for PS5 and PC. Players in New Zealand, Australia, Japan, and South Korea will receive the game one day later, on 7 August 2026.

Pokdepinion: Perhaps it is coincidence, but I assume they were aware of 2XKO, except this one has even more players involved.
