AMD R9 Nano is now getting cheaper with new retail price

The world’s fastest and most power efficient Mini-ITX graphic card the AMD R9 Nano is announces a change of retail price from USD 649 to USD 499 approximately MYR 2200. At the new price, the AMD R9 Nano will be more accessible than ever before.

The AMD R9 Nano which have peak power of 175W and in a 6 inch form factor deliver levels of performance than most standard size graphic cards and blows away the competitor with up to 30% better than performance than the NVIDIA GTX Mini-ITX.

With the price-cut it might make gamers to think twice either to get the AMD R9 Nano or NVIDIA GTX 980 as both graphic card have same price-tag.

In term of performance both card share almost identical result but the AMD R9 Nano pack with latest technologies the HBM which enabling 512GB/s memory bandwith. My question, is the price cut effective globally?
