Ever since the iPhone X came out with FaceID the Face Unlock feature has become an increasingly popular feature with recent smartphones such as the ASUS Zenfone Max Plus, OPPO F5, Huawei nova 2i as well as honor’s own honor 7x all possessing the feature. Now the popular feature has officially arrived to the honor View10!

The Face Unlock feature will come to the award-winning honor View10 together with the latest HOTA (HUAWEI OTA) system update. Not only does the new feature allows you to unlock your device by just showing your face but it also enables a whole slew of new features such as the Smart Notifications and Smart Rotate among others. Here are the other features that will come together with the Face Unlock feature:

• Smart Notification: This feature allows users to enable the display of their notification contents only when the owner’s face is recognised.
• Smart Rotate: This feature rotates the screen according to the orientation of your face.
• Wakes your honor View10 up every time pick it up.
• Keeps your phone screen on whenever you are looking at the screen.

The honor View10 has a 5.99 inch FullHD+ (2160×1080) display an 18:9 aspect ratio and runs on the high-end Kirin 970 which is the same chipset found on the flagship HUAWEI Mate 10 smartphone. Other than that the honor View10 packs a 6GB RAM as well as 128GB of internal storage under its hood. Powering the honor View10 is a 3750 mAh battery with honor’s fast SuperCharge technology.

The smartphone also features a dual camera setup with a 20MP monochrome sensor as well as a 16MP RGB sensor together with an f/1.8 aperture lens. The honor View10 can automatically recognize 13 different scenes and objects to give you the best shot with minimal effort.
