Google Assistant may see a major redesign soon
Google has announced their plans to upgrade the performance of Google Assistant, but they also may have a major redesign up their sleeves. Android users on Reddit have found that their Google Assistant now looks entirely different when triggered.
Instead of a white rectangular popup, it appears that Google is experimenting with a shade with Google’s colors along the bottom of the screen. It looks much sleeker, but it might be a little less noticeable when Google Assistant is actually active. Personally, I prefer the older design, but that might just be me.
The new design appears to be a part of a limited A/B testing for Google, so not everyone will have it on their phones yet. Which design you prefer, the new design or the one that almost everyone except the select few are using? Let us know!
