HUAWEI Hints At New Smartphone – Nova Series?

Surprise, surprise. It looks like HUAWEI is hinting on launching a new ‘Nova’ model to their smartphone line up. It is set to be a selfie-focused smartphone.

Here are some of the info that we’ve gathered so far. The smartphone will be the first HUAWEI smartphone to have a 20MP front camera. It will also pack a dual-camera technology.

Expect the phone to take pictures and perform in low light settings. Smart gestures include a raise hand motion and a 2-second countdown for a handy selfie experience. Also count on the phone to have 3D facial recognition with vivid colours and relighting effect.

The camera will include Beauty 4.0 with automatic gender recognition and Bokeh effect selfie with facial detection with real time preview.

Pokdepinion: It will be interesting how it will fare against other selfie-focused smartphones that are already out there in the market. I guess we would have to wait for it to come out first.
