LG V40 renders appear online — triple rear camera and dual front camera?

The LG G7 came and went, and it sort of didn’t generate much buzz aside from its wonderful color option. The next flagship from LG is going to be one from the V-series, and the LG V40 has already been making rounds on the rumor mill. Now we have full 3D renders of the device reportedly based on factory CAD blueprints.

The first thing that we notice is the triple rear camera and two cameras up front. Of course, this has already been previously leaked so there aren’t any surprises. It seems that HUAWEI has kicked off yet another trend, with two recent smartphones featuring triple rear cameras.

We also see a notch, which is surprisingly small considering the dual front-facing camera setup. The screen is larger than the LG G7’s measuring at 6.3″, and hopefully it will be an improved AMOLED panel. There is also a rear fingerprint sensor, which means LG hasn’t started using fancy technologies like an under-display fingerprint scanner.

The specifications of the LG V40 should be pretty similar to most recent flagships, which means a Snapdragon 845, around 6GB of RAM and at least 64GB of storage. The device is expected to be revealed sometime in October, so you still have time to save up for the LG V40.

Pokdepinion: Hopefully LG pulls off a stronger marketing effort for the LG V40 than they did for their previous devices. The are practically non-existent here in Malaysia.
