Maxis has issued an update that their services have been recovering since 12.38am today, as they work closely with their access provider to deliver proper internet service to their customers.

Maxis Home Fiber is currently suffering from an outage, with users reporting the issue since 6pm earlier. The issue reportedly only affects Maxis Home Fiber customers, while mobile connectivity remains unaffected.

Interestingly, Maxis’ Twitter reported the Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram outages but is silent about its own outage. We will be following this outage closely as it develops.

[UPDATE 15/4/19]: Maxis services have recovered

Some of our customers may have experienced some disruption to their home fiber services. We have been working with our access provider to resolve this and we are pleased to inform that services are now recovering. We would like to apologize to those impacted for the inconvenience. – Maxis Representative

The update was issued at 12.38 am today via an email to us.

As of 15 April 2019 8:01pm still no WiFi. So Maxis is taking exceeding 20 hours to fix an issue since their last update to you. They suck.
