5/10Recently, Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation or better known as MDEC unveil Malaysia’s first games incubator space, komune which sets to cater promising game developers and smaller studios to kickstart their journey.
komune
komune, which is inspired by the word ‘community’, aims to be a place where people gather to produce and engage. It is located at MSC CyberCentre of Bangsar South, operating in UOA Corporate Tower, making one of the biggest and spacious coworking offices in Kuala Lumpur with 18,000 square feet of space.
Designed to promote productivity and encourage collaboration, you can choose from a Private Office Suite available in a variety of sizes for privacy and security or opt for the Hot Desks that provides flexibility as well as collaborating with other komune members within the open lounge area.
komune is somewhat different from other coworking office with the introduction of k$ (K Dollar) credit allocation that is available with each membership plans. These credits can be used to utilize a wide range of services, facilities, and amenities such as booking meeting rooms, Event Space, Hot Desk Day passes, locker rental and many more.
It is also home to LEVEL UP Inc, a incubator for top small and medium game start-ups which occupies a space of 6000 square feet and comes with brainstorming room and high-end game lab.
