Smartphones with punch hole display aren’t something new to the market, with HONOR, HUAWEI, and Samsung already release devices that feature them. Now it seems that Nokia has decided to join in on the fun with the Nokia X71, their first ever smartphone with a punch hole display.

The Nokia X71 sports on a 6.39-inch FHD+ display and also that punch hole which offers a 16MP front lens. As for its back, it comes with triple ZEISS camera setup of 48MP (primary)+8MP (wide)+5M (depth). Being a mid-range device, it utilizes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset which packs 6GB RAM that’s mated with 128GB of internal storage, which you can expand up to 256GB through a microSD card. Powering it up is a 3500mAh battery under the hood.

As you can see, it offers a good old fingerprint sensor at the back. There’s also a 3.5mm jack port for your headphones and the phone is a member of the Android One program that runs on Android 9.0 Pie straight out of the box.

Nokia X71 is said to come out on the 30th of April 2019, where it comes with a $385(~RM1,572) price tag.

Pokdepinion: Well I’ve never been a fan of front cameras, I rarely use them at all, but a punch hole on the front doesn’t seem to bother me as much as a notch. The chin of the phone looks quite big in the picture.. hopefully it’ll be smaller in real life.
