Mio debuts in Malaysia with four dashcams and one rear camera
If you have ever been in an accident, you would know the hassle of having to figure out whose fault it is. A dashcam streamlines the entire process by letting you review footage recorded before the impact. Mio’s dashcams are over-equipped for that purpose, with the ability to see in the dark as well.
For Mio’s debut in the Malaysian market, they are introducing four dashcams with one rear camera. Mio harnesses Sony’s high sensitivity sensors for their MiVue 792, 785, 733, C360 and the A30. The A30 is the rear camera designed to work with the MiVue 792, 785 and the C360 dashcams, providing an all-round view of your car’s surroundings.
The MiVue 792 is currently Mio’s flagship dashcam, featuring a Sony STARVIS sensor that has near-infrared sensitivity for 4x better quality footage in low light conditions. This is coupled with a wide f/1.8 aperture and a 140° ultra-wide angle lens, giving you the best coverage be it day or night.
There’s also GPS functionality in the MiVue 792, a feature shared with the MiVue 785 and MiVue 733.
The following are the prices of the new Mio MiVue dash cams here in Malaysia:
- MiVue 792: RM799
- MiVue 785: RM599
- MiVue 733: RM499
- MiVue C360: RM399
- MiVue A30: RM499
All purchases of the new cameras will come with a free MiLuxury beauty product, in addition to a three year warranty and free installation services.
Pokdepinion: These are pretty costly investments, but hey, they should really help when it comes to disputes on the road, especially with recent cases of road rage.
