So apparently the next Steam Sale dates have been leaked, which probably makes this the 15984623th time the dates for a Steam Sale have been leaked to the masses and this time around it is going to be a Lunar New Year Sale.
The next @steam_games sale is Lunar New Year Sale and will run from February 15th to 19th.
Thanks to Steam Direct, it now takes less than 5 hours for that information to leak.

According to the Twitter account Steam Database, Steam’s Lunar New Year Sale will be happening next month on February 15 to February 19. Which means, if the above info is correct, that the Lunar New Year Sale is only a few short weeks away. Plenty of time to make sure your wallet (and mine) is ready enough for a financial onslaught. Hopefully.
The Steam Database account also mentions that the leak comes straight out of Steam Direct which should make this leak all the more likely. In case you’re not sure what Steam Direct is, in short it allows people to become a Steam game developer by paying a small amount, in this case just a 100 USD per game. Steam Direct may be a very easy and convenient way for budding game developers to get their games out there to the public but it does raise some security issues with Valve themselves stating that they too won’t be completely sure what’ll come out of Steam Direct.
I have to point out that the Lunar New Year Sale’s period is a little short, like the previous Halloween and Autumn sales so don’t expect a tonne of games going out with insane discounts. Or maybe this is the time to expect those kinds of the things? Steam Sales can get pretty unpredictable sometimes.
We still have to remind you that this is still considered a mere rumour and there is a chance that the Lunar New Year Sale might not happen at all, so take it with a pinch of salt.
