Nokia 4.2 Coming To Malaysia On 26 April 2019

HMD Global has announced that the new Nokia 4.2 is set to arrive to our shores here in Malaysia on the 26th of April 2019 at a price of RM599.

The Nokia 4.2 premiers the Google Assistant button, where it offers a new experience of how you engage with your smartphone. You can simply press it once for instant access to the Google Assistant to get help (directions,making calls, music, or getting answers, and etc).

You can also double press it to receive a visual snapshot of your day from Google Assistant that comes with suggestions and personalized information, including transport info, bills that needs paying, and what you have in your calendar so that you don’t miss out on any events. By holding the button down, it will activate the walkie-talkie mode, which lets the Google Assistant to listen to you until you release it for long sentence queries.

Nokia 4.2 runs on a Snapdragon 439 chipset and comes with Android 9 Pie, with it being an Android One device. It sports a 5.71-inch display that comes with a waterdrop notch. Camera wise, it offers a dual rear camera setup of 13MP+2MP and a 8MP front shooter. Under the hood is 3000mAh battery and it comes with 3GB RAM paired with 32GB of internal storage.

The Nokia 4.2 comes in two colors, Black and Pink Sand. Despite that, the Pink Sand version of the phone will only be arriving in stores in May 2019.

Pokdepinion: One thing that I like about Android One smartphones is that they usually offer a fluid user experience. Not too sure if I’ll use that dedicated Google Assistant button though..
