NVIDIA TITAN RTX is official — costs a cool $2499 for the full Turing TU102 chip!
Thought the GeForce GTX 2080 Ti was amazing? Well, it was. The NVIDIA TITAN RTX is now officially the most powerful graphics card you can buy, and it is priced at a whopping $2499 (~RM10 406).
Powering the NVIDIA TITAN RTX is the full Turing TU102 GPU, of which a cut down version was used for the GeForce GTX 2080 Ti. Did you just pay $1200 or more for a cut down GPU? Well yeah. The full Turing TU102 chip offers 4608 CUDA cores running at 1770 MHz, as well as 72 RT Cores and 572 Tensor Cores, and a 384-bit memory interface.
The GPU is manufactured on the same 12nm FinFET process as the other Turing GPUs, and relies on dual 8-pin PCIe power connector to feed it. It has a 280W TDP, which is the highest of the Turing GPUs at the moment. There is also a whopping 24GB GDDR6 running at 14 000 Gbps. Coupled with the wide memory interface, we are looking at 672 GB/s of memory bandwidth.
The NVIDIA TITAN RTX is of course not designed for gaming, but it is definitely capable of more gaming performance than the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti. Whether it can deliver a good experience in Battlefield V with all the DirectX Raytracing turned up to the nines remain to be seen, but as it stands, it looks like one amazing graphics card.
