Sony Unveils DualShock 4 Back Button Attachment for Added Functions
We’ve seen plenty of 3rd party peripheral makes releasing their own line of controllers, be it for PC or even PS4. It looks like Sony is looking to add some improvements to the DualShock 4 with the newly unveiled Back Button Attachment.
The DualShock 4 Back Button Attachment is an optional accessory for the PS4 controller. It’s a plug-in device which adds two buttons on the back of the controller and lets you remap inputs into the two buttons. Moreover, it adds a bunch of user profiles which lets gamers keep their own personal settings.
You may be wondering why bother getting this instead of another, better controller for the PS4. The most enticing factor of the DualShock 4 Back Button Attachment is quite affordable. The current price we have here is USD $29.99, with a Malaysian pricing currently unknown. Essentially, you get to add features that are normally available in premium controllers at a more affordable price.
The DualShock 4 Back Button Attachment is expected to be available on 23rd January 2019. It may be different for the Asia region but we’ll be reporting more on that, as well as local pricing, as soon as information becomes available so stay tuned.
Pokdepinion: I wonder if the features will be built-in the DualShock 5 for PS5. If not, would be great if this was compatible with the new controller at least.
