Sony Xperia 5 Coming Soon To Malaysia At RM3,399 — Early Birds Get Free Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones Worth RM1,159
Sony welcomes the Xperia 5 smartphone, the mini version of the Xperia 1 and it will be coming to Malaysia this 1 November 2019.
As mentioned, the Xperia 5 comes in a smaller form but offers the same 21:9 CinemaWide display that its sibling offers.
It’s protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 6, both front and back and comes with an IP65/IP68 dust/water resistant rating for protection.
In terms of the cameras, the phone features BIONZ X for mobile and triple rear cameras, consisting of a 12MP main camera, 12MP telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultrawide shooter. Adding to that, it seems that they’ve improved on the Eye AF2 from the Xperia 1 and now you are able to take continuous burst shots at up to 10 fps AF/AE tracking.
Other specifications include a 6.1-inch Full HD+ OLED display, a Snapdragon 855 chipset, 6GB RAM that’s paired with 128GB of internal storage, and a 3140mAh battery that comes with an 18W fast charger.
Coming in Blue, Red, Black, and Grey color variants, you can get the Sony Xperia 5 at the price of RM3,399 at authorized Sony Stores. They’ve also included a special early bird promotion for the phone where you can get a free WH-H900N h.ear on 2 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones, which is worth RM1,159 (while stocks last).
