Steam Holiday Sale 2017 Is Now Running
With the holiday season in full swing, Valve Corporation has announced a holiday sale on its digital distribution platform Steam. From now until 5th January 2018 @ 2 AM CST, which is 5th January 2018 @ 4PM Malaysia Time and those living in the GMT +8 timezone, save significantly on more than 100 games for PC, Linux, and Mac.
As the final month of the 2017 gaming year is about to conclude, gamers who did not have a chance to pick up the hottest releases of this year have the opportunity to purchase those games at a discounted price. Several titles released this year I recommend picking up include:
- Cuphead – RM32.30
- Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice – RM42.00
- Life is Strange: Before the Storm – RM37.80
- Prey – RM79.00
- South Park: The Fractured But Whole – RM109.50
- Tekken 7 – RM79.50
- The Evil Within 2 – RM118.49
- Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus – RM118.49
Of course, titles released this sale is not exclusive to 2017 release titles, so those looking to buy a couple of games that have been on their radar and wanted a break from more significant releases will surely find something worth picking up. However, here are a few of my recommendations:
- Ultimate Chicken Horse – RM18.60
- Vanquish – RM20.00
- Middle-earth: Shadow of War – RM73.50
- Portal 2 – RM3.80
- Styx: Shards of Darkness – RM47.60
You can check out the full list of games on Steam’s official store page. Speaking of the Steam Holiday sale, if you are looking to buy a game for someone but you’re unsure what to get them, you can always get them a Steam gift card. This way, they can use it to buy the games that they are interested in.
