The HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro’s design is leaked out in its entirety
We are just two days away from the HUAWEI Mate 30 series’ launch, and leaks are abound. @UniverseIce has just shared leaks of the HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro, and its central, circular camera hump.
The image of the back of the HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro reveals the quad camera setup in the round hump, surrounded by a reflective ring. This design has been hinted at by the teasers put out by HUAWEI themselves. A closer look at the focal lengths reveal that the HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro might not sport the periscopic zoom lens of the HUAWEI P30 Pro, instead opting for a conventional 3x zoom ala the HUAWEI P30. There’s also what looks like a xenon flash module, although I wouldn’t keep my hopes up for that.
The notch is slightly wider than recent waterdrop notches, so HUAWEI should still be using their 3D IR facial recognition which they introduced on the HUAWEI Mate 20 Pro. It also seems to house two cameras instead of one, perhaps to improve on the selfie chops of the HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro.
In addition to all that, you can expect the HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro to come with a more steeply curved display as well as the latest Kirin 990 chipsets. What it might not come with is Google services, as HUAWEI is still under attack from the US administration.
You can expect to see more of the HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro, along with its lesser variant, the HUAWEI Mate 30, very soon. We will be covering the event live, so stay tuned for updates!
Pokdepinion: Might not be the best for photography but the HUAWEI Mate series have always represented the greatest from HUAWEI in terms of everything else.
