Hogwarts Legacy Release could be Delayed, according to Leaks

The new Harry Potter-themed action RPG known as Hogwarts Legacy could be pushed back from its current 2022 release window, according to sources. This news comes not long after a different leak that suggests that the game could be getting major features in short order.
Hogwarts Legacy Pushback due to Fantastic Beasts trailer delay
A leaker has taken to Twitter to announce that Hogwarts Legacy could be amongst a wide variety of Harry Potter-themed media that could be pushed back due to the abrupt delay of a Fantastic Beasts trailer.
The leaker’s source specifically states that the trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is being revised because there will be a setback in the movie launch date which in turn, has resulted in a domino effect that may affect the other Harry Potter projects. The originator of the rumour, AccountNGT, says that one of these projects may very well be Hogwarts Legacy.

Sources have also claimed that the Fantastic Beasts trailer could’ve been delayed when Russia invaded Ukraine. All things considered, these claims are not considered far-fetched. Warner Bros’ initial plans for 2022 may also get a revamp in the future, but fans should wait a while to see if the company publishes an official statement.
It is worth remembering that there has been rumours going on of a Hogwarts Legacy delay for a while now, which WarnerMedia CEO Jason Kilar had put to rest at the time. The game itself was the topic of a good number of leaks talking about the game’s potential release date. However, there has been no official announcements confirming or dismissing these claims, so it could really go either way.
Just a few weeks back, there were speculations that the game could be debuted the same day as a Hogwarts Legacy artbook, set to release on September 6, 2022. These claims would’ve made sense from a marketing standpoint however, as mentioned before, there has been no official statement regarding these rumours shared, therefore fans should take this information with a grain of salt.
Hogwarts Legacy is an upcoming action role-playing video game set in the late 1800s in the Wizarding World being developed by Avalanche Software and published by Warner Bros and is set to release in 2022 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
