PlayStation Reportedly Working On Their Very Own Version Of Xbox Game Pass
The Xbox Game Pass has been a hit for Microsoft where it allows gamers to subscribe and play over 300 games on your Xbox Series X. Now it seems that Sony is planning on upgrading their own PlayStation Now service with a new project codenamed Spartacus.
PlayStation Now ‘Spartacus’
According to the source, it appears that PlayStation ‘Spartacus’ will come in three subscription tiers: Essential, Extra, and Premium. That being said, it was also mentioned that these names could be different upon launch.
The first tier will cost supposedly at $10 (~RM42) where it allows access to a small selection of games each month. With the Extra plan, it’s priced at $13 (~RM54) where it gives you a larger selection of PlayStation titles similar to PlayStation Now. Finally the Premium tier gets you the previous two benefits with PlayStation Now streaming capabilities, classic games, and a new “game trials” feature for the price of $16 (~RM67) per month.
It is said that they are moving towards a testing phase for the service in the next coming weeks, with a scheduled release in March. That being said, the news isn’t something from Sony/PlayStation themselves, so do take it with a pinch of salt.

Pokdepinion: While this does sound impressive, the only question I have is whether it will arrive to regions outside of the United States, should it happen of course.
