With The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt port confirmed for Nintendo Switch, many are curious to see how the game runs on the system. While it wouldn’t be a surprise to see a noticeably downgrade in graphical quality, people want to know to what extent would it be downgraded. Now, we have more details on that.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition for the Nintendo Switch will run at 540p in handheld mode, and HD 720p with dynamic resolution when docked. Given the power of the system, it’s surprising that it manages to at least run within these resolutions as I’m sure many have expected worse.
Many gamers are aware as to how taxing The Witcher 3 is on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but the trailer footage showed that the game ran decently well. Being able to take Geralt’s adventure wherever you go is certainly an enticing offer. Moreover, the game includes all of the DLCs as well, which makes it even more tempting.
In other news, the physical copy of the game will require no download whatsoever. Click right here to read all about it.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition will be coming to the Nintendo Switch sometime in 2019.
Pokdepinion: Asking for Full HD 1080p on this system is too much in my opinion but 720p on docked is still pretty good. 540p on handheld is also pretty great given the screen size.
