Razer has introduced the Wolverine V3 Pro 8K PC controller developed specifically for competitive PC gaming. The device features 8000Hz polling rate, tunnel magnetoresistance (TMR) anti-drift thumbsticks with swappable caps, along with wireless connectivity (while retaining the same performance as wired mode).

Razer first implemented TMR thumbsticks on its Kishi V3 series mobile controllers, and it’s now bringing it to the PC realm – TMR operates similarly to Hall Effect, but is more precise – since no physical contact is involved, this means less likelihood of encountering stick drift. It’s also Razer’s lightest controller to date, weighing just 220 grams, and a carrying case is included to protect the device during transport.

The controller is equipped with four remappable back buttons, two claw grip bumpers, Razer Pro HyperTriggers for switching between rapid-fire and full analog input, mecha-tactile PBT action buttons, and an eight-way floating D-pad. For further customization, users can configure button mappings, adjust thumbstick sensitivity, and store up to four onboard profiles through Razer Synapse 4 software.

The Razer Wolverine V3 Pro 8K PC is priced at RM929, and if you don’t need the wireless features, the company also offers a wired-only model in the form of Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition 8K PC at just RM499, which is almost half the price of the Pro variant (and you get all the same features, sans wireless).

Pokdepinion: The wireless model sure is pricey.
