HONOR is set to launch two new devices for its “AI Device Ecosystem” in Malaysia on 20 August 2025 – in other words, we have one new tablet and a laptop soon available for purchase. The models in question are the brand’s third-generation flagship tablet, the MagicPad 3, and the newly-refreshed MagicBook Art 14 laptop.

The HONOR MagicPad 3 features a 13.3-inch IPS display with 3.2K resolution, 165Hz refresh rate and a rated peak brightness of 1000 nits; this display is paired with the 8-speaker system onboard, giving the tablet IMAX Enhanced certification. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor – not the latest by any means, but it should offer sufficient performance. Similar to other HONOR tablets, the MagicPad 3 works with accessories like the smart Bluetooth touchpad keyboard and smart pencil for added functionality.
The second product set to be launched in the upcoming event is the 2025 refresh for the HONOR MagicBook Art 14. In case you forgot, this laptop is known for its magnetically-attached camera which allows the laptop to adopt a near bezel-less design on its display. The new edition is said to retain this feature while incorporating an upgraded processor and a new color inspired by the “Color of the Year 2025,” and we think that points to Pantone’s Mocha Mousse (if the teaser image hasn’t already gave it away somehow).
Still, the information given by the smartphone maker at this point is still scarce, so expect further details on specifications, pricing, and availability for both products to be announced during the launch event next week.
Pokdepinion: If I have to make a guess, the laptop processor is likely Intel Lunar Lake, although Arrow Lake wouldn’t necessarily be ruled out either.
