HONOR Malaysia has launched its latest flagship devices, the MagicPad 2 tablet and the MagicBook Art 14 laptop, alongside the launch of its flagship foldable, the Magic V3 (which is now available for pre-orders).
HONOR MagicPad 2
The MagicPad 2 features a 12.3-inch 3K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and advanced eye-care technologies, including AI Defocus Display and TÜV Rheinland certifications. It supports AI-powered productivity features such as voice-to-text, real-time translation, and document handling through HONOR Notes and HONOR Docs. The tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, with a 10050mAh battery supporting 66W wired charging.
HONOR MagicBook Art 14
As for the MagicBook Art 14, it is one of the thinnest laptops on the market with its thickness measuring at just 1cm (10mm), and weighs just 1kg. It features a 14.6-inch 3.1K OLED touch screen with a 97% screen-to-body ratio; and that is achieved without a webcam housed within a bezel – instead, the laptop comes with detachable magnetic webcam that is housed on the left side of the laptop, and you can simply plop it onto the top of the screen if you want to use it. For performance, it is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 5 125H with 16GB of RAM, and 1TB SSD.
Pricing
The HONOR MagicPad 2, priced at RM2,799, offers 12GB+8GB RAM and 256GB ROM, and comes bundled with a complimentary HONOR Magic Pencil 3 and HONOR Magic Keyboard, valued at RM898. It is available for purchase online starting today and will be in stores nationwide from September 13, 2024.
Meanwhile, The HONOR MagicBook Art 14 will be available in Malaysia from September 20, 2024, at RM5,999. It comes with a free gift package including an HONOR Backpack, an extended warranty, and a Microsoft 365 1-year subscription, valued at RM1,106.
Pokdepinion: That’s a powerful tablet at a surprisingly reasonable price.
