Starting with Swift 16 AI, this 16-inch laptop offers a total of five CPU options to choose from (though two of them are simply variants with extra on-package memory). Other specs include a 3K OLED touch panel, 16GB or 32GB of LPDDR5X-8448 RAM, up to 2TB onboard SSD storage. It also comes with a 75Wh battery with fast charging support; all this is packed into a chassis weighing 1.5kg.

As for the Swift 14 AI, you have two CPU flavors to choose from (on top of the Qualcomm variant launched earlier): Intel (SF14-51/T) or AMD (SF14-61/T). For Intel variants, you have four processor options: Core Ultra 7 256V/258V, and Core Ultra 5 226V/228V; whereas the AMD model will simply get the Ryzen AI 9 365 processor.

Both gets up to 32GB of onboard LPDDR5X memory (albeit Intel’s option comes with faster modules), and a varying of display options ranging from FHD+ touch to 3K OLED panels. In terms of storage, the AMD Swift can be optioned with 2TB SSD, whereas Intel gets up to 1TB. Battery specs range from 65Wh to 75Wh depending on specific configurations.

Meanwhile, the Swift Go 14 AI packs the new 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus processor, but Acer didn’t specify which exact SKU. That aside, the laptop offers a 14.5-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, supports fast-charging via two USB Type-C ports, along with Wi-Fi 7 support. You also get up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM here, though SSD maxes out as 1TB. Battery is rated at 75Wh, which is claimed to last up to 28 hours on video playback.

All laptops here are Copilot+ PC-certified, which means both AMD and Intel variants will be eligible for additional features that will arrive later this year (which is currently available on Qualcomm laptops only). No local availability has been announced thus far, though Acer will be launching these laptops starting in North America very soon, with other regions to follow up in the coming months.

Pokdepinion: Laptops these days just comes with plenty of RAM isn’t it? (I certainly do not miss the days when cheap laptops get way with too little RAM.)
