HONOR Malaysia has launched the HONOR Magic V3, with pre-orders now live until September 12, 2024. The device was introduced during a simultaneous global launch at IFA 2024 in Berlin.

The HONOR Magic V3 is notable for its ultra-thin design, with a folded thickness of 9.2mm (world’s thinnest) and just 4.35mm when unfolded. Its weight isn’t far off from a typical smartphone either – at 226g, it is fairly easy to carry for the amount of screens it managed to pack within. The company says it uses Aerospace Special Fiber body along with the industry’s slimmest and strongest hinge made from “HONOR Super Steel,” capable of withstanding up to 500,000 folding cycles.
The foldable boasts a 7.92-inch HONOR Super Armored Inner Screen and a 6.43-inch external display with HONOR Anti-scratch NanoCrystal Shield; it is also rated IPX8 for water resistance. Camera capabilities include a 50MP main camera, a 40MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 100x zoom, along with a 20MP front camera housed within both displays.
It runs on MagicOS 8.0.1 based on Android 14, featuring AI features courtesy of its collaboration with Google Cloud, while the hardware is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It includes a combined 5150mAh battery supporting 66W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The HONOR Magic V3 comes in 12GB RAM and 512GB storage configuration and is available in Mossy Green, Silk Brown, and Classic Black. At RM6,999, it is now available for pre-order with exclusive gifts worth up to RM2,896, which includes the HONOR Watch 4, HONOR Magic Pen, HONOR SuperCharge Wireless Charger Stand and HONOR 365-day Screen Protection.
