As confirmed at E3 2019, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be ported to the Nintendo Switch. For those of you who are familiar with the game, I’m sure you’re wondering how big the file size will be for download. Well, turns out that for those of you who purchase the physical copy of the game, there will be no download required to play it.
According to Wario64 on Twitter, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition will have the entire game loaded on the cartridge itself. This means that no download is required and it is an amazing feat given that it also includes the Hearts of Stone as well as Blood and Wine expansions, along with 16 other DLCs. Aside from that, it will also include a compendium, map, and stickers.
For those of you who are curious, the game is loaded on a 32GB cartridge. Imagine having all of that content fitting within just 32GBs of storage. In comparison, PC gamers on the Steam version of the game cited that it takes roughly 50GB of storage for the game and all its DLCs. If that’s hard to believe, click right here.
