TM Has Started Rolling Out Unifi Turbo Upgrades – Here’s How to Know If You Have It
It appears that the folks over at TM has started rolling out Unifi Turbo, the massive upgrade in speed for Unifi users. Here’s how to know if you have it.
TM Has Started Rolling Out Unifi Turbo Upgrades

Last month, we reported about a massive speed upgrade in the form of Unifi Turbo coming to users in the future. With TM’s removal of the eligibility page, there are a number of people who were uncertain about it, especially if there was a delay with the upgrade. Turns out, they have started roling it out already.
However, keep in mind that Unifi Turbo is rolling out in stages so even if you are certain that you are eligible for it, it doesn’t mean that you will have the upgrade right now. Given the sheer amount of people subscribed to TM Unifi, you might need to wait it out a bit more before you can see it reaching your homes. No word on when each roll out phase will be occurring either.
If you want to know whether you have received the Unifi Turbo upgrade from TM, there are a couple of way and it’s quite easy actually.
- Internet Speed Test (e.g. SpeedTest.net)
- Check the status of your Unifi account via the official website or mobile app
For those of you who aren’t aware, these are the upgrades that you will be looking at and it differs for each existing plan:
Unifi Turbo Speed Upgrade
- 20Mbps and below > 100Mbps
- 30Mbps > 300Mbps
- 50Mbps > 500Mbps
- 100Mbps > 800Mbps
Have you gotten the speed upgrades? Let us know in the comments down here or on our Facebook post :)

Pokdepinion: To roll out immediately to everyone would be dangerous. Speed not being up to par is just one issue but imagine having zero internet access all of a sudden. Just be patient for a little bit longer.
nope until now
The rollout is gradual, so not everyone will get it at the same time :)
Status on apps show already upgrade to 300… but the actual speedtest is not. only got 50 mbps
connect to 5ghz, the 2.4ghz wifi give you max at 50mbps only
Using TM RnD router, upgraded to 100mbps, but tested wired at 50mbps only. Need to upgrade router as well?
100Mbps should be fine. If you’re getting 50Mbps, try contacting their customer service and get it checked first.
I checked with Unifi, they said port upgraded to 100mbps already. Asking me to change a new router. Since my contract done, they offered me a new Router but with a new 24month Contract.
