Traffic Offenders Can Enjoy 50% Discount On Summons Online From 18 January

If you have summons that you haven’t cleared out, well great news as the police are offering 50% discount for you to settle them starting from the 18th of January till 1st of February 2020.

The news was announced by Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) director Datuk Azisman Alias.

For this year, the police aims to promote e-payment for those who would like to settle their summons, especially during this festive Chinese New Year period.

Here’s what he had to say:

But this time, I try to give special discount of 50%. We never did online payment before which would not require people to queue for hours to pay. You can make payments online via MyEG and Rilex.com.

In total, there were 5,763 cases of fatal crashes last year compared to 2018’s 5870 cases and Datuk Azisman expects this number to reduce even further.
