HUAWEI is gearing up for a major launch event on February 18, where the spotlight will be on the Mate XT tri-fold smartphone. However, that’s not the only exciting reveal as they will also be introducing the HUAWEI FreeArc earphones, a new over-ear TWS designed specifically for sports enthusiasts.
HUAWEI FreeArc: Secure Fit and Sports-Ready Design
A 15-second teaser released on HUAWEI’s social media offers a glimpse at the FreeArc earphones, showcasing a design that ensures a secure and comfortable fit on all ears. These earbuds also boast IP57 water and dust resistance, making them ideal for intense workouts and outdoor activities.
The FreeArc features an earbud connected to a rubber strap that wraps around the ear, providing a snug and stable fit. The design incorporates a C-bridge structure, similar to the HUAWEI FreeClip, ensuring a comfortable and ergonomic experience.
Key features include:
✅ Lightweight construction for all-day wear
✅ 17 x 12 mm driver unit for deep bass performance
✅ Up to 28 hours of battery life on a full charge
✅ 10-minute quick charge for 3 hours of music playback
HUAWEI FreeArc Pricing and Availability

Interestingly, the HUAWEI FreeArc is already available for pre-order in Japan via a crowdfunding platform. This move could be their strategy to gain traction in Japan’s brand-loyal tech market.
The HUAWEI FreeArc is priced at JPY 18,800 (approximately RM547 / $125). However, we’ll have to wait for the official HUAWEI event in Kuala Lumpur next week to see if this pricing remains consistent across global markets.
Pokdepinion: Looks interesting enough but then again, it might just be me being bored of the conventional design at this point.
