Sony Debuts INZONE Buds & INZONE H5 Headset, Plus INZONE H9 In Black Colorways
Sony today introduces two new audio gear under the INZONE brand, the INZONE Buds and INZONE H5 headset. The company notes that both products are designed in collaboration with one of the biggest names in the Esports scene, Fnatic – winner of back-to-back VCT titles, and will be celebrating its 20th anniversary next year.
First off, the INZONE Buds features up to 12 hours of runtime (24 hours including the case), one of the features the company is touting is Sound Tone Personalization, which pings a test sound in your ear and use feedback microphones to measure how sound travels inside your ear. The sound profile is then generated in the INZONE Hub PC app – on top of the Sound Field Optimisation feature seen in other Sony earbuds.
It also carries the Dynamic Driver X from the flagship WF-1000XM5 earbuds, which uses multiple materials in the construction of diaphragms to reduce distortion. Active noise cancelling is also present; and the earbud uses touch-sensitive controls configurable through the Headphones Connect app. For latency, Sony says it’ll go lower than 30ms when paired with USB-C dongle.
Meanwhile, the fourth over-ear headset model joins the INZONE lineup: the INZONE H5 fills the gap in between H3 and H7, and features wireless audio as well. It weighs 260g – which is on the lighter side, and the low-pressure design helps with comfort in long gaming sessions. It’s capable of 28 hours of runtime – though you can run it wired with a 3.5mm jack if you prefer it that way.
Additionally, Sony is also releasing a highly anticipated black-colored INZONE H9. All three products will be available in Malaysia starting this month – though no pricing is published as of this writing for the former two products. The Sony INZONE H9 meanwhile will cost RM1,299.
Pokdepinion: Neat additions. Also am I the only one who thinks the headset kind of resembles an egg?
