Sony WH-1000XM6 Gets A Limited-Edition Hello Kitty Collaboration Bundle

Sony has launched its first-ever collaboration with Hello Kitty, pairing the flagship WH-1000XM6 wireless headphones with exclusive Sanrio-themed merchandise in a limited-edition bundle featuring a custom Hello Kitty pouch and tote bag, designed jointly by teams from both Sony and Sanrio.

The collaboration package bundles the WH-1000XM6 headphones with two exclusive items: a Hello Kitty-themed carrying pouch sized to fit the headphones, and a Hello Kitty tote bag for everyday use. Both items were developed through an extended design process that involved multiple rounds of prototyping to balance Hello Kitty’s visual identity with Sony’s signature minimalist aesthetic.

The pouch features embroidered Hello Kitty fabric, a design approach that Sanrio’s team noted was a fresh direction rarely seen in previous character merchandise. Sony designers applied a structured textile framework to integrate Hello Kitty’s iconic elements, including her ears and ribbon, without disrupting the clean lines expected of Sony’s product design language.

The WH-1000XM6 itself is Sony’s current flagship noise-cancelling headphone, featuring its most powerful active noise cancellation of the lineup yet, along with and premium audio performance built on the legacy of the 1000X series. All six color options for the headphones are available as part of this bundle.

Priced at RM2,449, the bundle is available exclusively at three Sony Store locations in Malaysia (Lalaport BBCC, The Curve, and IOI City Mall) and through the official Sony Malaysia online store. Pre-orders for the bundle is now open, with stocks expected to be ready for collection by the end of October 2026.
