Acer Malaysia Unveils Acerpure Aqua WP1 Water Purifier & Acerpure Pro P2 Classic Air Purifier
Acer Malaysia has recently introduced two new additions to its Acerpure family: the Acerpure Aqua WP1 water purifier and the Acerpure Pro P2 Classic. The Aqua WP1 features a compact piping-less countertop design; in contrast, the Pro P2 Classic offers an intuitive display and incorporates a 3-in-1+ HEPA filter for improved filtration capabilities.
The Acerpure Aqua WP1 offers a different way of water purification – unlike most models that require hardwired piping connection, the Aqua WP1 instead is an independent unit that do not require dedicated service personnel during installation process. Users simply tops up water into the 8.7L tank, and the 3-step filtration system can turn pretty much most water sources into clean, drinkable pure water. (Acer demonstrated this by pouring orange juice and coffee into the tank, and out comes the water – nothing else.)
It also provides precise temperature control with 1-degree increments from 40°C to 95°C, with cold water available as cold as 10°C (though you can only use it once every 45 minutes for it to cool down again). A maximum of 500ml can be dispersed at once, though it’s adjustable as well in 50ml increments. There’s also the TDS (total dissolved solids) monitoring that tells the user on the source water’s quality, and the filtration system is also actively monitored with three separate indicator lights, and is user replaceable should it needs to be replaced.
Meanwhile, the company’s air purifier family gets a new model, the Pro P2 Classic. This 3-in-1 HEPA filter-powered system can remove 99% formaldehyde, 99.9% of PM2.5 particles and a special carbon coating also helps in removing the odor smell in the filtration process. Acer also touts its DC motor’s longevity by offering a 10-year motor warranty, aside from the standard 2-year warranty on the product itself.
The pricing for Acerpure Aqua WP1 water purifier is set at RM3,599 – available in Acer eStore, Acerpure officiial store, Acer Flagship store in Shopee, as well as retail channels under One Living and Chin Loong. The Acerpure Pro P2 Classic meanwhile will be available with a price tag of RM899.
Pokdepinion: You probably wouldn’t want to turn coffee or orange juice into plain water, but hey – you technically can now. (That’s impressive, though.)
