The Acerpure AQUA WP5 water purifier is now available as announced by Acer Malaysia – this new plug-and-play countertop unit is designed to provide filtered drinking water without the need for a fixed water connection, negating installation costs.

The purifier is equipped with a 5-in-1 RO (reverse osmosis) filter consisting of polypropylene, carbon and scale inhibitor, polypropylene, reverse osmosis membrane, and post-carbon filter; this is then paired with double UVC LED sterilization which removes 99.9% of bacteria, viruses, and contaminants such as chlorine, heavy metals, antibiotics, and pesticide residues. As with typical countertop designs, the filter can be replaced by the user when the indicator turns red, and Acer says each filter is rated to last for 12 months.
The Acerpure AQUA WP5 includes two 1.6L detachable jugs that auto-fill when placed on the unit. These jugs allow filtered water to be consumed directly, stored in the refrigerator, or carried elsewhere, enabling a continuous supply without long waiting times associated with traditional designs. Water can be dispensed at three temperature levels: cold at 5°C, room temperature, and hot up to 99°C (which is fully adjustable) – while the volume can be set between 150ml and 999ml.
The Acerpure AQUA WP5 is available immediately through the Acer eStore and Acerpure official stores on Shopee and Lazada at RM2,999. Customers who purchase the unit before 8 September 2025 will be able to do so at a launch price of RM2,299, inclusive of RM100 Touch ’n Go eWallet credit and a complimentary filter worth RM299.
