ASUS IoT Introduces The MDS-M700 PC For Medical Applications

ASUS IoT has introduced the MDS-M700, a medical box PC designed to offer performance and reliability across various healthcare environments. Engineered to support 4K UHD imaging, it ensures clarity and precision in visualizing human tissue, vessels, and body structures, meeting stringent medical safety standards such as CE, FCC, and IEC 60601-1-2 certifications.

The MDS-M700 boasts features like a low noise level of 45dB and a seamless one-piece cover resistant to alcohol during the sterilization process. Inside, it’s powered by Intel 13th Gen processors and optional NVIDIA RTX A5000/A4000 GPUs.

With a focus on medical AI applications, the MDS-M700 leverages NVIDIA graphics cards for real-time AI-assisted analysis, supporting three Ethernet sockets for redundancy. Its compact design enables integration into limited medical equipment spaces, with long-term viability ensured through BIOS updates for 14th Gen Intel CPUs. It also offers an optional capture card for recording 4K UHD videos for monitoring and reviewing purposes.

ASUS IoT will be showcasing its medical portfolio at this year’s Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society conference (HIMSS24), including the MDS-M700 PC. Availability begins on April 2024, and clients may contact local ASUS representatives for further information.
