Epson has been recognized by International Data Corporation (IDC) as the leading printer brand across ASEAN in four commercial and industrial printing categories for CY2025: Large Format Printing, Graphic Textile, Photo Graphic (Aqueous Ink), and Signage. The recognition, based on the IDC Quarterly Worldwide Industrial Printer Tracker 2025Q4, confirms Epson’s dominance across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
Epson Leads In ASEAN Market Share




In Large Format Printing, Epson grew its ASEAN market share from 19.2% in CY2024 to 21.1% in CY2025, holding strong positions in Singapore (32.8%) and Malaysia (16.8%), with notable year-on-year gains in Indonesia (23.2%, up 6.5 percentage points) and the Philippines (26.9%, up 4.7 percentage points).
In Graphic Textile printing, Epson leads the region with a 45.6% market share, up from 43% the prior year. The company holds commanding positions in Singapore (60%), Indonesia (59.1%), and the Philippines (54.6%). It also participated in ITMA 2025 in Singapore, where it showcased new dye-sublimation models and released the Digital Textile Printing Trends in Southeast Asia whitepaper. Recent product additions include the SureColor F9530.
For Photo Graphic (Aqueous Ink) printing, Epson holds a 22.3% ASEAN market share and tops the category in Singapore (56.8%), Indonesia (32.2%), Thailand (27.9%), and Malaysia (23.6%). Products driving this position include the SureColor P9530 and SureColor P6530E.
In the Signage category, Epson’s ASEAN market share climbed from 10.5% in CY2024 to 11.1% in CY2025. Market share across Singapore (54.5%), Thailand (37.5%), and Malaysia (22%) all increased year-on-year. Three new signage printers were launched in CY2025 under the SureColor S Series: the S7130, S8130, and S9130, with the new models credited for driving upgrades among existing users.
