ASUS Malaysia Unveils New AiO A5 & AiO M3 PCs
Designed for home users, ASUS Malaysia today is launching two all-in-one (AIO) PCs: the AiO A5 and AiO M3. Both models feature the same 23.8-inch FHD display with 100% sRGB color space, Dolby Atmos audio, USB-C and HDMI-in for I/O, and 3-year on-site warranty.
The ASUS AiO A5 (model number A5402WVA) features Intel’s latest processor in the form of Core i5-1340P (4P+8E), 8GB DDR4 RAM, and 512GB SSD storage – upgradable with second M.2 slot as well as a SATA port for 2.5-inch SSDs or HDDs. One of the highlights of this PC is the 2.1 sound system, which the company claims to deliver 77% more volume on bass frequencies.
Elsewhere, it packs an integrated webcam (not retractable, however – so it sticks out) and supports VESA mounting if a more flexible placement is required. Speaking of which, it also supports HDMI-in, meaning you can use it as a monitor from another device; other ports include Thunderbolt 4, 3x USB 3.2 and 2x USB 2.0, HDMI output and an SD card slot.
Meanwhile, the ASUS AiO M3 (M3402WFA) slots below the A5 model, packing an AMD Ryzen 3 7320U (Zen 2, 4 cores), and comes with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM paired with the 512GB of PCIe 3.0 storage. In terms of audio, it comes with a pair of 6W speakers coupled with what ASUS calls “bass-reflex design”, for better audio quality. I/O is slightly reduced compared to A5 – though you still get HDMI-in, HDMI-out, 3x USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and an SD card reader.
As for the pricing, the ASUS AiO A5 is priced at RM3,699; whereas the ASUS AiO M3 will cost RM2,599. Both models will come with a matching set of black keyboard and mouse in-package upon purchase.
