ASUS Malaysia has announced the availability of the TUF Gaming T500, a “compact desktop” PC which comes with some rather unconventional combination of parts, given its small 15-liter internal volume.

For starters, the Intel CPUs in the TUF Gaming T500 are not desktop socketed variants, so there is no upgrade path here; it also has a unique heatsink layout that directs the heat using three heatpipes to a 120mm fan mounted on the rear of the case. The DDR5 modules are also of the SO-DIMM kind – stuff that you’ll typically find in laptops or mini-PCs. Despite that, the GPUs you get are full-size desktop versions, so upgrade paths do exist in this regard.
Still, inside the T500 you’ll two configurations: the first features Intel Core i7-13620H processor, paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti GPU; while the second gets Intel Core i5-13450H with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 6GB GPU (which is a very different card compared to the RTX 3050 8GB, so keep that in mind). Both configurations feature 16GB of DDR5-5200 memory and storage configurations of up to 1TB.

The TUF Gaming T500 is now available in Malaysia, with the Core i7-13620H and RTX 5060 Ti and 1TB SSD model costing RM6,999; meanwhile, the Core i5-13420H variant paired with an RTX 3050 and 512GB SSD is priced at RM3,899.
