ASUS has announced the launch of the ROG Strix Helios II, a mid-tower PC chassis that features “spacious design, wealth of tool-free installation features, and cable management optimizations,” according to its claims. The company also announced that this case will be locally available ‘around September 2025’.
ROG Strix Helios II

The ROG Strix Helios II features a brushed aluminum front panel with a diamond-pattern grille, along with a 3D-structured filter for reduced noise; internally, it supports motherboards up to E-ATX standard (think the likes of ROG Crosshair X870E Extreme), along with graphics cards up to 450mm long (or 105mm thick for vertical installations), tower coolers up to 190mm tall, and radiators up to 420mm.
On the subject of cooling, the case comes preinstalled with four 140mm fans (three front, one rear) with 28mm-thick frames for more airflow at less noise. There is one small thing to take note, however: the top side of the case only accepts 120mm fans in triple-fan setups, while 140mm variants are restricted to two units; so if you have a 420mm AIO cooler, front-mounting is your only option.
ASUS also puts focus on easy maintenance with ROG Strix Helios II, with features like one-key-release side panels, ‘patented’ tool-free PCIe slot mount, and a detachable rear PSU bracket; the rear side of the case also offers 33mm of cable routing space, along with a multifunction cable cover, rear cable clips (for external peripheral cables), and a unified front panel header to keep cables tidy and simple. There’s also an integrated ARGB fan controller that connects up to six additional fans.
The case’s front I/O includes four USB 3.0 Type-A ports, two 20Gbps USB-C ports with 60W fast charging, an audio jack, and dedicated power, reset, and LED control buttons. At the top of the case, ASUS says the fabric straps are integrated into the case for easy transport – although ‘easy’ is a relative term here, given that the case itself already weighs 18kg on its own. We’d imagine with all components installed, that figure could get pretty close to 30kg.
