vivo Malaysia has revealed the upcoming vivo V60 smartphone ahead of its official launch through a collaboration with Malaysian fashion designer Kit Woo, currently showcased at KL Fashion Week 2025 (KLFW 2025). In this event, the Berry Purple is expected to be highlighted as the signature color option; this color joins Mist Gray and Summer Blue when it launches presumably later this month.
vivo V60 Preview

This new mid-range smartphone is said to feature narrow bezels measuring 1.91 mm at the top, 1.86 mm on the sides, and 2.41 mm at the bottom, with each side wrapped by a 3D curved screen that extends to the edges “with a precise 41° golden arc”. Admittedly, some of the wording used in its press release confused me a little bit when it comes to the description of vivo V60’s build, but the takeaway here is pretty clear – this smartphone will focus on ergonomics, so expect it to be a major selling point.
Speaking of build, we can talk about the camera bump as shown in the image, which is much less pronounced than most smartphones these days. On that subject, here are some announced camera specs: the primary camera is a 50MP Sony IMX766 1/1.56″ sensor with OIS, complemented by a second 50MP periscope telephoto camera with Sony IMX882 inside, along with the 8MP ultra-wide camera. The front-facing camera is another 50MP unit with a 92-degree field-of-view.
Besides the camera, vivo says the V60’s battery is rated at 6,500mAh unit and supports 90W fast charging, while the chipset is courtesy of Qualcomm’s mid-range Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, coupled with 12GB RAM onboard. The smartphone is also rated for IP68 and IP69 ingress protection. Expect more specs to be revealed with the launch, but for now, we’ll have to wait until the announcement is made.
Pokdepinion: It’s a breath of fresh air seeing smartphones without massive camera bumps these days.
