Acer Brings Four New Predator Monitors To CES 2024

Acer unveiled four new models in its expanded Predator gaming monitor line at CES 2024 – the lineup includes the flagship Predator Z57 with a massive 57-inch dual-4K display and the Predator X34 V3 with MiniLED technology; additionally, the Predator X39 and Predator X34 X serve as the latest OLED additions of the lineup.

The Predator Z57 boasts a 32:9, DUHD resolution of 7680 x 2160 @ 120 Hz with 98% DCI-P3, with the 1000R curved panel leveraging 2304-zone MiniLED technology; it’s also certified with VESA DisplayHDR1000 for up to 1000 nits of brightness achieved. As for the I/O, it comes with two HDMI 2.1 ports, and a single DisplayPort 1.4; and unlike most monitors, it comes with a pair of 10W speakers as well. Acer says this monitor is also VESA-compliant for wall-mounted installations.

The Predator X34 V3 features a 34-inch curved MiniLED display with a 21:9 ultrawide QHD resolution, paired with a 1500R curvature, 94% DCI-P3 color gamut, and VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification. This panel supports up to 180Hz refresh rate with 1ms GtG response time; I/O comes in the form of two HDMI 2.0 ports and a single DP 1.4. Like the Z57, it comes with VESA mounting and a pair of 5W speakers for audio.

Acer’s OLED models, the Predator X39 and Predator X34 X (though Acer lists it as X34 OLED on their website, for some reason), come with ultrawide QHD resolution, a 240 Hz refresh rate, and a 0.01 ms pixel response time. At a super-tight 800R curvature, you get enhanced peripheral vision, and the OLED panel is also capable of providing 99% DCI-P3 color gamut. The panel is also certified with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400, as well as EyeSafe 2.0.

All new models across the lineup feature AMD FreeSync Premium, USB Type-C 90W PD port for simultaneous display, data transfer, and device charging, as well as a built-in KVM switch for convenient source swapping without reconnecting peripherals.

No local pricing has been announced yet – though Acer has noted that all models will be available starting Q1 2024 in China, and Q2 2024 in US/EMEA regions. The Predator Z57 will cost $2,499, while the Predator X39 will cost $1,499. Meanwhile, the Predator X34 X and X34 V3 will cost $1,299 and $899 respectively.

Pokdepinion: Sleek designs, should blend well into most setups.
