Dell Introduces New P-Series & S-Series Monitors, Available Late March

Dell today is unveiling a total of 11 monitors under the P-series and S-series lineup. For the new P-series monitors, a total of seven models will be released by the end of this March, which splits into two variants: three with USB-C upstream capability (where you can connect to a laptop with a single cable for data and power), and four without.

Two models, namely P2425E and P2425, come with 16:10 WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution; while all remaining models with the letter ‘H’ in their model number use standard Full HD panels instead – which is available in 21.5, 24, or 27 inches. All models feature TUV Rheinland 4-star eye comfort certification, zero flicker, 100Hz refresh rate, and 99% sRGB color gamut. For easy access, Dell also placed one USB-C and USB-A port underside, and here you can also find mounting points for the optional sound bar add-on.

Meanwhile, the four models of the S-series consist of one 27-inch QHD model (S2725DS), one 27-inch FHD model (S2725H), and two 24-inch FHD models (S2425H/HS). Like the P-series, all support TUV Rheinland 4-star eye comfort certification, 99% sRGB gamut, and 100Hz refresh rate – the S2725DS in particular supports variable refresh rate (VRR). A pair of 5W speakers comes built-in, plus a cable management channel for a clutter-free look.

Dell says all models will be available in Malaysia by the end of March 2024. Prices start from RM869 for P-series, whereas S-series are priced from RM619 onwards.

Pokdepinion: Looks like even everyday monitors are moving beyond 60Hz these days.
