For those of you who are hunting for a new gaming monitor, MSI has officially launched the MSI MEG X gaming monitor in Malaysia, with availability expected sometime in October.
MSI MEG X Gaming Monitor
First unveiled at CES 2026 and shown again at COMPUTEX 2026, the MEG X is a 34-inch ultrawide display with a 21:9 aspect ratio and a native resolution of 3,440 x 1,440 pixels. Under the hood, it uses a fifth-generation QD-OLED panel with an RGB Stripe sub-pixel layout, also known as Tandem OLED, which brings with it 10-bit colour support.
On the performance side, the MEG X hits a peak refresh rate of 360Hz and a 0.03ms GTG response time, placing it firmly in the upper tier of what gaming monitors currently offer.
The headline feature MSI is pushing hardest, however, is the monitor’s suite of AI-based tools. The MEG X comes with six built-in AI features: AI Tracker, AI Gauge, AI Vision+, AI Scene, AI Google, and AI Scope. All six are accessible via a single button, and the monitor houses a dedicated NPU Integrated Circuit to handle the processing load locally without relying on the connected PC. MSI says the AI features are designed to operate passively during activities like gaming, meaning they run in the background without requiring active management from the user.

Pokdepinion: I don’t expect it to be affordable, far from it if anything, but it’s gonna be well worth it if you’re into ultrawides.
