Phidisk Phoenix microSD cards exceed Raspberry Pi requirements by 2X

Phidisk, the local storage solutions provider hailing from Penang, Malaysia has just achieved another milestone. The Phidisk Phoenix microSD cards have just been sent to the Raspberry Pi Foundation for testing, and all variants ranging from the 32GB up to 128GB capacities of the Phidisk Phoenix microSD cards are approved for use on Raspberry Pi computers.

The Raspberry Pi Foundation gauges several key criteria of a microSD in regards to their performance, and approval means that they meet or exceed all of their stringent requirements. In Raspberry Pi’s testing, the Phidisk Phoenix microSD delivered above 2X the minimum sequential and random write performance specified by Raspberry Pi.

On top of that, the Phidisk Phoenix microSD also allowed the Raspberry Pi tested to boot in half the time limit set by the Raspberry Pi foundation. Overall, the Phidisk Phoenix microSD is approved by the Raspberry Pi Foundation to ensure a great user experience for anyone using it with their Raspberry Pi systems.

It is also worth noting that Raspberry Pi’s requirements exceed the A1 Application Performance Class set in place by the SD Association, the latter which was set in place to ensure that Android users can enjoy a smooth experience using certified memory cards. For smartphone users who want to add more storage to their devices, the Phidisk Phoenix microSD cards will be a great choice as well.

Pokdepinion: I am definitely looking forward to even more impressive achievements from Phidisk. A PCIe 4.0 SSD soon, maybe?
